On blocks and incapacitation…

This is a blog entry about not writing a blog entry!!!!

Or rather about not being able to put fingers on keyboard to type them words out…

When i started on sales this November, I made a promise to myself – that I would continue to write atleast one entry per week, which, to the uninitiated me, seemed like a huge buffer…

So here I am in March, nearing my first year end and this is the first entry i write in months…and that too about my failure to write one :)

So what stops me? Women, wine? Nah…the first one is an imaginary creature anyway, in my line of work!!! wine…i dont drink alone…

Its indifference…yeah thats right!!! When the first thing in yr mind in the morning is the travel plan that you need to follow and the number of billings to be done and the number required at the end of the day, there isnt much thought left over…about anything other than some numbers entirely meaningless to anyone beyond the small number of DTH salesmen!!!! and that indifference is born of tiredness….

At the end of a long day spent on giving complete opportunity for cancer cells to grow in my ear by hanging a phone at all times, all you want is temporary death, a deep sleep that is…unless you want your energy level to drop drastically next day…so you dont…and so you dont blog…

So a bomb-blast here and a godman scandal there enters through my numbers clogged brain but only stays to tickle it. Something irreverent and completely bloggable forms but gets lost before they can be translated onto the screen…

Why? Because I just cant write anything just to fill up space. I like to write something that makes sense to me and which I can read years later without feeling guilty of wasting cheap online space!!! As you can understand from above lines, am quite a pseudo-intellectual…so that is the actual problem!!!

So writing about the latest movie or about the beauty of mountains in a few twitterish lines appeals none to me…so here I am stuck for grand projects but finding my brain overfilling!!! all of which makes for grand excuses!!!

Which is what the above is…a big grand excuse to not write when in fact i have been unapologetically, insufferably and intolerably lazy!!!!

And the above has been an excuse to write something as well!!!

So heres hoping that that the next entry does not read…On blocks and incapacitation – Part two!!!
