Prepare to feel Terrorised....

For all those who care anything about the ongoing reservation issue, i would suggest you read this interview of Arjun Singh by Karan Thapar (conducted on CNN-IBN)....

Read it and wonder about the Fools we elect to lead us, the ones who lead our much vauted democracy.....look at how he comes around as a guy who dosnt even know even his most rudimentary facts and whose arguments dosnt seem on a much higher level than a 5 year old child (guess our politicians enter their second childhood the moment they enter politics, irrespective of age).....

Read on and prepare to feel terrorised.....click here for the interview

Really depressing to say the least..Felt like wringing his neck with my bare hands. More than imbecilic, I think most of our politicians are evil, wicked, sick men. Such a pathetic state of affairs.

Politicians, most of them, are fools and are enemies of the society. They always have a bunch of people with vested interests to protect and another sect with noble interests to demolish.

couldnt agree with you more....and the tragedy is that we are so busy patting ourselves on our back for being such a 'great' democracy all the time that we have forgotten to keep on thinking of better and alternative ways of governance...

talking that a revolution must happen (most people are vague of what a revolution really is...) is simplistic and in the end solves nothing just as kafka said that "every revolution comes and leaves behind a beauracracy"....

our task is to constantly look for ways to make our lives better...we seem to be doing that less and less every day (except when we come to our crudest self-interest of course)

hey deepannita, seems rang de basanti was a very timely movie eh?? everybody seems to have superimposed the politician's face (ie mohan agashe's) there with arjun singh's....on some discussion forums, there are clear cut calls to kill him!!!!....

imagine what would happen if he dies tommorrow...thunderous applause would follow!!!:)

Isn't it funny how the politician's muscle has literally strangled the movement? I hope the students keep fighting for it. And if it goes on till engineering exams end, I'll join in too!

If only reel life would translate itself into real life...boy, I'm depressed with my country! This depression is turning me into a potential murderer!
