Me ranked 91 on Youtube??

 

I got what you would call, a pleasant shock when I just wandered on to my Youtube profile and saw that I was actually ranked 91 (in India) on Youtube in terms of views :) (see in my profile section, below the India flag)

Sets me thinking though...I have simply not done anything to promote my videos....the videos are mostly a legacy of my Cognizant days when I had nothing better to do than upload the numerous videos I used to get as daily forwards (from people who are similarly idle :))...

I don't know what lessons to draw from this...I am no Internet Marketer (except that tagging 'humour' or 'comedy' to videos does get higher hits)...it also is a testament to the mindboggling number of people who cant get enough of getting their daily fix of moving images

But ah well...one day maybe I can understand why I got through the top 100 :)...the way I see it though, with me taking passive interest in the videos, the ranking is not going to be mine for very long, what with Youtube India starting off and Indians getting hooked to short videos...

so as long as it stays, let me enjoy it...and for posterity, I take the snapshot of the page :) lol....
