Vikay Tendulkar - a goodbye

As usual, Frontline does it best when it comes to honouring people who are dismissed with a few columns of space in most dailies.

Vijay Tendulkar has been instrumental in jolting many people out of their petty sensibilities, including me. I hope that his plays stay with me throughout my life. I don't claim to understand every nuance of his plays but its something to look forward to in the years to come - a testimony to the effect that Tendulkar has on his reader. His plays, the bulk of which I have read two years ago, still affect the way I look at the world - makes it that much sharper.
